Advertise with She Chooses™

We invite you to share information about your products, services and offerings as an advertiser on She Choose™, the social network for women.

We're excited to offer you a way to really express what you offer to women. We seek advertisements that show products and services that meet women's needs, wants and longings, just the way women want information delivered, with beauty and art and surprise.

We want ads that are fashion magazine quality in style, originality and creativity, news magazine quality in message, and absolutely focused on women and their choices. We welcome advertisers from any and all businesses, companies, corporations, organizations and institutions.

We would love to read and hear, "You've got to see the ad from YourCompany on She Chooses!"

Ads for She Chooses must:

  • debut on She Chooses. An ad you have used elsewhere, online or in print, is not eligible for posting on She Chooses.
  • have an exclusive 7-day run on She Chooses. After 7 days, you may post the ad elsewhere.
  • be designed specifically for She Chooses, i.e. focus on women and their choices in content and/or theme.
  • feature products and services that are available globally. Since the site's audience is global, the ads need to be created within a global context and vision, rather than with a local one.
  • be invitational. "Buy now" and "Check this out" commands just aren't what most women want to hear.
  • in sum: be modern, global, contemporary, deeply she-savvy.

In its first four months, from its public launch on March 22, 2011 through July 22, 2011, according to Google Analytics, the She Chooses site received 2,230 Visits and 12,636 Pageviews from 949 Absolute Unique Visitors from 33 sources in 33 countries/territories. The top five sources of traffic, in order, were direct traffic, blog.shechoooses.com, Google, Facebook, and Handshake 2.0. The Average Time on Site was 00:05:38.

In its first 10 months, from its launch on September 12, 2010 through July 12, 2011, according to Google Analytics, the She Chooses blog received 5,464 Visits and 6,657 Pageviews from 4,689 Absolute Unique Visitors from 90 sources in 46 countries/territories. The top five sources of traffic, in order, were direct traffic, Facebook, shechooses.com, Google and Twitter. The Average Time on Site for the blog was 00:00:32.

Advertising opportunities and rates:

  • She Chooses site sidebar - $100 per month
  • She Chooses site "Shop" page - $50 per month
  • She Chooses blog sidebar - $100 per month

Advertising specifications:

  • Advertisers supply their own ads.
  • Ad specifications for the She Chooses site's sidebar and "Shop" page are 230 pixels wide, 150 pixels tall.
  • Ad specifications for the She Chooses blog are 270 pixels wide, 200 pixels tall.
  • To extend your message, we recommend that an ad for the site be different from an ad for the blog.
  • With the submission of your ad, please include the URL of the page to which you would like us to link the ad and the text you would like to use to describe the image. You may also submit a Google Analytics URL to tag your link.
  • Upon approval of your ad, placement is on a first-come, first-served basis. An ad received March 1, for example, would be placed above an ad received March 2, etc.

The founders have a specific vision for She Chooses. They, therefore, retain the right to approve or disapprove ads submitted to She Chooses based on their sole discretion.
